Hey, i'm
Viram
a software engineer who likes shipping fast and debugging faster
Chapter I
The Origin
I'm a software engineer who's happiest elbow-deep in a Golang service or untangling a gnarly mobile SDK bug. These days I build Fyno Connect and the alarms and anomaly monitoring that keeps it honest, plus the Push and In-App SDKs that ship across React Native, Flutter, Kotlin, and Swift. Before that, I rewrote a PHP billing service into Golang at Kaleyra and built ad-serving systems for Jio Ads at Radisys — proof I enjoy rebuilding things to be faster almost as much as building them from scratch. (Programming and I met in college at Dayananda Sagar; we've been inseparable since.) Off the clock I'm usually mid-chapter, mid-movie, or rereading Harry Potter for the nth time — I like a good plot whether it's in a codebase or a book. Let's build something great together!
“Any sufficiently advanced code is indistinguishable from magic. I just try to make sure mine keeps working.”
Chapter II
Bugs taught me how systems break. Building lets me write endings that hold.
I spent years finding where code breaks before it reaches production. Now I build the SDKs and services other developers build on top of — and the alarms that catch it when something still goes wrong.
Chapter III
The Chronicle
Software Engineer @ Fyno
November 2023 - Present
- ▹Building Fyno Connect, the integration layer that plugs customer stacks into Fyno without the usual duct tape.
- ▹Own the alarms and anomaly monitoring system — the thing that pages us before customers notice something's wrong.
- ▹Ship and maintain Push and In-App SDKs across React Native, Flutter, Kotlin (Android), and Swift (iOS), backed by Node.js and Python services.
Senior Engineer @ Radisys
June 2023 - October 2023
- ▹Part of the Jio Ads team, building Golang services that serve and target customer-facing ads in real time.
- ▹Used ElastiCache (Redis) to keep the ad pipeline fast under load — because nobody waits around for a slow ad.
Software Developer @ Kaleyra
August 2021 - June 2023
- ▹Rewrote the core billing service from PHP to Golang, turning a noticeably sluggish endpoint into a near-instant one.
- ▹Shipped two major releases — Billing and Whatsapp-New-Pricing — without becoming best friends with the rollback button.
- ▹Spent time in the QA and conversational AI trenches, learning that 'it works on my machine' is not a valid test strategy.
Software Developer Intern @ Kaleyra
March 2021 - June 2021
- ▹Worked on DLT (a real-time project) — my first taste of systems where 'eventually consistent' isn't a joke.
- ▹Got MERN-stack training from Crio and came out the other side actually liking JavaScript.
- ▹Built Qkart, a mini e-commerce app, as part of the program.
Backend Developer Intern @ Kaleyra
June 2019 - August 2019
- ▹Built and tested a JAVA library for consuming Kaleyra's RESTful APIs — my first real production code.
- ▹Learned the fundamentals: JSON, cloud communication, APIs, and how many ways a request can go wrong.
Chapter IV
The Grimoire
The Latency Vanishing Act
Backend Engineering
Rewriting PHP into Golang, building ad-serving pipelines, and generally making backend services faster without waking anyone up at 2am.
The Everywhere Charm
Mobile SDK Development
Designing and maintaining Push and In-App SDKs across React Native, Flutter, Kotlin, and Swift — the kind of code that has to work everywhere, always.
The Twin Ports Spell
Cross-Platform Apps
Shipping product experiences that share logic across mobile and web, so 'it works on iOS' doesn't turn into a support ticket on Android.
The Steady Hand Ward
Systems & Caching
Working with Redis/ElastiCache and backend infrastructure to keep services fast under real load, not just in the demo.
The Early Warning Sight
Monitoring & Observability
Building the alarms and anomaly detection that catches problems before they become incidents, or angry Slack messages.
Chapter V
The Screening Room
Now Showing
Voice Based Email
Premise
Email clients assume you can see the screen — a real barrier for visually impaired users who still need to compose, read, and manage messages independently.
Plot Twist
Built a voice-controlled email client with Django and Python, where every action — compose, read inbox, manage folders — is driven entirely by spoken commands.
Reception
Won Best Innovative Project at DSCE, proof that accessibility-first design was worth the extra apprentice-year effort.

- Python
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Django
Now Showing
Video Chat App
Premise
Real-time video felt like a black box — I wanted to understand what actually happens under the hood of a video call, not just import a library and hope.
Plot Twist
Built a video chat app from scratch with a Golang backend and a React frontend, wiring up the signaling and connection handling myself.
Reception
A working, scrappy video chat app, and a much clearer mental model of how WebRTC actually moves bits between two browsers.

- Golang
- JavaScript
- HTML
- Vite
Now Showing
Fake Currency Detection System
Premise
Spotting counterfeit currency by eye is unreliable, and most detection tools weren't built for Indian currency.
Plot Twist
Trained a TensorFlow image classification model on real vs. fake note images, then wrapped it in a Flutter app for on-the-spot checks.
Reception
A model that classifies Indian currency as real or counterfeit from a photo alone, trusting data over eyesight.

- Python
- Tensorflow
- Flutter
- Dart
